The Chapin 20020 SureSpray pump sprayer is the two gallon companion to the Chapin 20000 One Gallon Sprayer that I Reviewed Here. Generally I see the extra size as the only difference between the 20020 and the 20000.
For the sake of saving you time, I will do a short review of the Chapin 20020 even though it’s closely related to the other model.
Main Advantages Of The Chapin 20020
The two gallon capacity is great to have. You can pump the unit, take it out and not have to worry about refilling the unit often. This is especially great if you have a large area to cover.
It is a very simplistic design, this means that there aren’t many moving parts that will break. With that being said, I’m not sure about using this unit as an everyday industrial type unit.
Chapin 20020 Features
- Patented surespray anti-clog filter
- Dry hands measuring cup
- Clean ‘n easy design
- Translucent bottle for ease in checking fluid level

Chapin 20020 Guide Review
I am going to say the same thing about the Chapin 20020 Sprayer that I said about the 20000 Model. While these units look great for personal home use, I would not use this unit for large projects. Some of the reviews hinted that parts didn’t last long or broke. I do not know if that was due to human error, but sounds about right for a unit of this price.
Here are some of the reviews:
I have no doubt that if you are looking for a sprayer that you can use once or twice a week to do some spraying bugs or garden spraying that this unit will serve just fine. I do however think that if you are going to be doing large plots of land and spraying frequently, that you take a look at some of the other units that we reviewed such as the Chapin 61900 Tree/Turf Pro Commercial Backpack Sprayer.
Weekend warrior ok, work horse, I don’t think so.
