The Chapin 61800 Backpack Sprayer is a slightly older model than the Chapin 61900 Backpack Sprayer. The main difference is that the 61900 includes a pressure gauge and both an inlet filter as well as a removable filter inside the unit.
I will however do a short review on this model as it does have most of the options of the newer unit, but has a little bit of a smaller price tag.
Either way, with the old or new unit, you can be sure that by getting a Chapin, you are going to be satisified.
Main Advantages Of The Chaplin 61800 Sprayer
After doing my Chapin 61900 Review, I can tell you that the 61800 is a durable unit that has the capacity and features to handle anything you can throw at it. For some, the pressure gauge and filter screens aren’t really a big deal, if that’s you, this model is great and costs less too.
I have said it before, I love backpack sprayers. Not only do they take all of the stress off of your arms, but in my case, they actually put a nice weight on my back which actually makes it feel comfortable.
If you’ve used sprayers in the past you know that different applications call for different pressures. This pump sprayer has a four position spray valve that is adjustable from 15 – 60 PSI. That is enough to cover any job that you are going to do weather it be spraying weeds on your sidewalk or spraying a whole greenhouse.

Chapin Backpack Sprayer Guide Review
As I have stated before, I did a review on the later 61900 model. I know that this unit is a solid buy and so do many of the people who have purchased it. Here are a couple of the reviews:
I love the Chapin brands and so do the customers. They really have all of the features in place that you are going to need out of a backpack sprayer that can handle small jobs all the way up to industrial jobs.
It’s a solid buy. Again, if you do want the pressure gauge as well as the filter screens, you may want to look at the Chapin 61900 Backpack Sprayer as well. Either way, you are getting quality that will last.
